Nick Grimshaw is being tipped as favourite to host The Xtra Factor this year.

The Daily Star said the Radio 1 Breakfast show DJ could co-present the ITV2 show with Caroline Flack.

Caroline's former co-presenter Olly Murs, who is set to support Robbie Williams on tour, recently said it was "unlikely" he'd be doing another series.

The pair have hosted The X Factor spin-off show for two series

"There's been a lot of speculation, but I've never said it was definite that I wasn't going back, just that it was unlikely due to my music career," he has said.

An X Factor spokesman said: "Details for the new series have yet to be confirmed."
