Strictly Come Dancing star Kristina Rihanoff has revealed she has already received the best Christmas present she could hope for from her boxer boyfriend Joe Calzaghe.

The 35-year-old said she didn't need anything in her stocking on Christmas morning because she would be spending the holiday season with her mother.

"I already got the best present ever because my boyfriend has brought my mother over from Russia. That is a great present, I wouldn't want anything else. It was so thoughtful of him so I'm so, so happy."

Speaking at a special performance of the musical Wicked, where a new cast was unveiled at London's Apollo Victoria theatre, Kristina said she is looking forward to a rest when the current series of Strictly ends this weekend.

"It will be nice to have a break and be back home and enjoy my family and family fun. Then I am going on at the West End in Burn The Floor with (fellow Strictly co-star) Robin Windsor so this is time to relax a little bit. I have about a month off, I will carry on teaching but it's much less full on."

After backing former Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley to take home the trophy, Kristina said she is now tipping either Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh or Olympic gymnast Louis Smith to win the show over actress Dani Harmer and presenter Denise van Outen.

"I am sad Lisa won't be in the final, I was really rooting for her and Robin to be there and I think she really proved you can be any size to be a great dancer and that was an important message for all women," she added.

"I think they all deserve to win the show because they are all so different and so great but I think it's between Kimberley and Louis. Louis is the last man standing so he has a big chance of winning. It would be nice for Flavia (Louis's professional partner) to win it. After seven years on the show it would be great if she could get the glitterball but anyone can have it. It will all depend on how well they dance."
