Sackey is Europe's best
PAUL Sackey is the best winger in Europe; that is the view of Shaun Edwards, who believes the Wasps man is every bit at good as Welsh flyer Shane Williams.
As Wasps head coach and part-time coach of Wales, Edwards is in the best position to compare the two.
He said: "To me he's the best winger in Europe. I'll stick my neck out, it's him and Shane Williams. He's come on leaps and bounds and turned all that potential into the real deal."
Sackey was inspirational for Wasps against Newcastle, scoring one try but more importantly taking the game by the scruff of the neck early on after Newcastle has seized the initiative.
Director of rugby Ian McGeechan said: "His carrying in the first half got us on the front foot."
