Casey gets his Newham record off to a winning start
BOXING
ONGAR-based boxer Casey O'Rierdon made a successful debut for new club Newham.
The 15-year-old, who has just switched from Brentwood beat J Fincham of Eltham at the
Fisher Dinner Show in London.
O'Rierdon (pictured) using good counter punching dominated all three rounds of this Under-55 kilo contest, as he landed some strong right hands and left hooks.
Delighted coach Joe Chapman said: "The kid has clearly got a lot of potential.
"Hopefully we can help bring out the best in him."
