A first-half strike from Dexter Blackstock settled yesterday's London derby as QPR defeated Charlton 1-0 at Loftus Road.
The striker finished sharply after 15 minutes giving Nicky Weaver no chance in the Charlton goal.
Patrick McCarthy almost put into his own net which would have extended the R's lead.
But the Addicks came close to an equaliser when Chris Iwelumo fired over the bar. The result ended Charlton's faint hopes of reaching the Championship play-offs.
