Leyton Orient boss salutes 'magical' strike from Cox in their win over Walsall

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade described Dean Cox's wonder strike as "magical" after his side earned a 2-1 win at Walsall.

The O's produced their best half of football this season as they led 2-0 at the break following Lee Cook's effort and a stupendous shot from his own half by Cox.

Orient had to withstand a fightback from the Saddlers in the second half but they were well worthy of the victory after an excellent first-half display which could have easily brought more goals.

Slade said: "It was magical wasn't it? Obviously they will be playing that in the netbusters. It was a quality goal, a great finish and great vision.

"I didn't think we were going to beat the keeper again because he was having an outstanding game. He made two fantastic saves but he couldn't keep that one out. It was a wonderful goal."
