EVERYONE at Wycombe Wanderers needs to shoulder the blame for Gary Waddock's sacking, believes Gareth Ainsworth.

The former manager said in his final press conference the Blues players had let him, the club and themselves down in a series of poor performances.

And Ainsworth said: "Everyone connected with Wycombe takes responsibility when the manager goes - the coaches, the players, everyone, we all share it.

"I will be the same when I'm in charge - everyone's responsible: me, the players, the coaches, we all take some responsibility.

"I'm sure no one feels it's nothing to do with them. Everyone feels maybe if we'd got results it would be different, but that's football. It's difficult to blame just one person at a football club."
