CHRIS Powell has hinted he may be prepared to look into Nigel Reo-Coker’s availability.
The 28-year-old is a free agent after activating a release clause in his contract with Bolton following their recent relegation to the Championship.
Reo-Coker has yet to find a club and his name has been linked on the Valley rumour mill recently, with Powell not completely ruling it out when asked today.
He said: “I played with Nigel many years back and he has been in the Premier League.
“I know he doesn’t have a club, I saw that on TV, and I know he is without a club like a lot of good Premier League players, as we’ve bought one in with Ricardo Fuller.
“But no, there is nothing imminent with regards to Nigel but it is something I will look into.”
