Wanderers takeover negotiations ongoing

WANDERERS’ fans are still waiting for news on the proposed takeover from the Supporters Trust.

The Trust admits the need to complete negotiations is becoming urgent as Blues will remain under a transfer embargo until they submit their accounts, and that won’t happen until the takeover is complete.

Trust chairman Trevor Stroud said: “Negotiations are progressing and we’re hopeful of a swift conclusion.

“There are time pressures for us, particularly from a football point of view, which we fully understand.

“We’re working as hard as we can towards a successful conclusion.”
