Watford's Lewis Young joins Hereford on month-long loan

Watford forward Lewis Young has joined League Two-strugglers Hereford on a month's loan.

Young, 20, has made four appearances for the Hornets but has not featured since coming off the bench in the 4-2 defeat to Bristol City on Boxing Day 2008.

The younger brother of England international Ashley Young, who scored in the Reserves' 2-0 win over Ipswich Town on Wednesday, is out of contract in the summer.

Sadly I fear that might be the case for a lot of our young players...they have good skill but knocked fof the ball easily.

Most teams seem to try and get big strong Youth players who run fast and hope the good footballing ability as they progress.

good point, the one they rave about is the Italian lad Mingoia but he is very small and will be outfought, not through lack of desire but physical deficiencies
