Jason Demetriou could take on Christiano Ronaldo and Portugal in Euro 2012 qualifiers.
The Orient midfielder has played three times for Cyprus, and he was watching the draw when it was made.
"I was watching for England of course and for Cyprus too" he told Guardian Series Sports. "They're both good."
"Cyprus looks great to me, if I can be involved.
"Hopefully I will because it will be an honour to play against the likes of Christiano Ronaldo."
