Alex crowned national champ

Sutton judo player Alex Cummings-Montero has been crowned a national champion after a fine outing at the Great Britain National Judo Championships.

The youngster competed in the U12s age group, winning the under-46 kg weight division after a storming run.

He had four fights and comfortably won them all, without conceding a single point.

Alex is a member of the Surrey U16s judo squad.
