TOTTENHAM are keen on snapping up Matthew Upson from bitter London rivals West Ham, according to The People.
The 29-year-old - who won his first England cap in a competitive match in Saturday's 5-1 win over Kazakhstan at Wembley - is an essential component of the Hammers back line.
But Spurs boss Juande Ramos is desperate to shore up his defence and believes he can grab the former Arsenal man with a £5million offer when the transfer window opens in January.
