ARSENAL manager Arsene Wenger believes his young Brazlian midfielder Denilson can only get better as he gets more games under his belt.

The 20-year-old put in an impressive performance in the heart of the Gunners midfield on Saturday, during the 1-0 win over West Brom.

And while he might not be seen as a first choice at the moment at the Emirates, when Cesc Fabregas and Abou Diaby return from injury, Wenger believes the former Sao Paulo man can make a big impact this season.

"It's always difficult to assess at the start of the season how good Denilson will be," said Wenger. "But they can only develop if they play.

"It's a tricky situation, but we not only make results but we develop players as well. People want to see big names, but they also want to see good players."
