Leyton Orient have slashed 50 per cent off ticket prices for home fans in Saturday's crucial match against Sheffield United.

The O's could be relegated this weekend and Orient want to attract a bumper crowd to help them claim a victory in their battle to beat the drop.

Chief executive Alessandro Angelieri said: “The game has become very important and I have taken this action at short notice to encourage supporters to come along and help support the team.

"We need the fans to act as the 12th man as we fight for safety in this league and I hope that by cutting prices in this way we will ensure a big crowd that will get behind the team for the game.”

The game has been made all ticket with no cash turnstiles in operation on Saturday.

Supporters are advised to purchase tickets in advance of the day of the game via the online ticketing system at www.lofcdirect.co.uk.

Home fans that have already purchased a ticket for the game at full price will be entitled to a free ticket for the opening home game of next season or a £25 discount if they buy a season ticket.

Fans are advised to retain the purchased full price ticket against Sheffield United as the offer will only be accepted upon submission of their relevant match ticket.
