A claim dead singer Lena Zavaroni's killer cousin acted like a brain damaged war prisoner when she stabbed her partner, will be contested by the Crown.
At the High Court in Glasgow, a report by a psychologist claimed Darleen Zavaroni, 24, was so physically and sexually abused by the man she killed she was suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome.
Dr Mairead Tagg said Zavaroni was left "exhausted and isolated like a detainee at the hands of military interrogators".
Zavaroni, of Duntocher Road, Clydebank, was originally charged with murdering her partner, Allan Osbourne, 27, in their home at Gleniffer View, also Clydebank, on August 10 last year.
But later she admitted the lesser charge of culpable homicide.
The judge, Lord Turnbull, then asked for further reports and yesterday he was given the latest report.
