Leyton Orient will be without both Jobi McAnuff and Ryan Hedges for tomorrow's crucial home game with Port Vale.

Midfielder McAnuff is away with Jamaica while winger Hedges is also on international duty with Wales Under-21s.

Lloyd James has been out with a broken leg since September but the midfielder played 60 minutes on Tuesday of the Reserves' defeat in Portsmouth. This weekend's game could come too soon for him but he may be included in the squad.

Orient boss Fabio Liverani knows the importance of getting a victory at Brisbane Road with matches starting to run out in their survival battle.

The manager, whose side also travel to Coventry City on Wednesday night, said: “Every game is important and we have nine finals so Port Vale is the first one we’re going to face. It’s definitely a game where we hope we’re going to bring the three points home.”

Port Vale have lost their last three matches and Robert Page’s side appear to be in little danger of going up or threatening the top six.

But the side did win 3-0 back in October against Orient in a match which saw Darius Henderson sent off for an elbow.

The striker was booed off by supporters after being substituted at Crawley but Liverani has offered him his backing.

The Italian said: "I respect the supporters' opinion but Henderson is an important player for us and he puts everything in in training. He's coming back from injury so it's difficult to keep playing every game at the same level of intensity because he's not 100 per cent fit yet."
