East London Runners’ Thomas Grimes finished first at the Grovelands Park run on Saturday.

Grimes was round in 17.34 to complete the run in the fastest time.

Patrick Brown was joint fastest at the Walthamstow park run in a time of 19.24.

Alex Day set a personal best at the Wanstead park run to finish second in 17.57.

Euan Brown was also the runner-up in Hackney after finishing in a time of 15.56.

Dan Gritton recorded a personal best of 18.07 for fourth place in the Southwark park run.

Katherine Harris was the first woman home for 20th place overall at the Valentine park run (22.16).

Claire Parker was also the fastest female in Hackney for 29th spot (20.50).

Celia Payaneeandee was the first woman home in Wanstead after a time of 23.46 (29th).

Paul Quinton finished sixth at the Mornington Chasers 10k in Regents Park on Sunday.

It was the sixth and last 10k race of the winter series which featured a three-lap course of the park and Quinton completed the run in 36.41 Jamie Xavier was 58th in the Richmond Park 10k after posting a time of 47.08 on Saturday.

James Nichols was 25 seconds short of his personal best at the Anglesey half marathon on Sunday. Nichols finished 196th after clocking a time of 1.36.44.

Rebecca Young earned a personal best time of 1.37.11 in the Bath half marathon after finishing in 1,252nd out of a field of more than 11,000 runners on Sunday.
