Premier Division

May & Baker EC 'A' took another step towards the league title by picking up a resounding 5-2 win at Rainham Working Men's Club.

The win means May & Baker sit 13 points ahead of Chingford Athletic in second place but have played six games more than their nearest title rivals.

In third place, Jolof Sports Club eased to a 4-2 win at Eastside Rangers (London Community) which mean they just about remain in the race for the championship.

Jeffrey Cobbiah scored twice, with further efforts from Hervan Volney and Modou Sankareh sealing the win. Asher Modeste scored twice in reply for Eastside Rangers.

Newham Reserves were comprehensive 4-0 winners over Chingford Town, a result which strengthens their grip on fourth place.

Cranes United beat AAH Romford 1-0; Senkatuka Nelson notching the decisive goal for the home side.

Romford will be well aware of the fact Chingford Town, in sixth, trail them by just three points and have played six games less.

Division One

There was a shock at the top of the division as third-placed St Johns Deaf were beaten 1-0 at London Bari Reserves.

Defeat leaves St Johns 16 points behind top-of-the-table Blue Marlin, though they have played four games less than the side they trail.

Northend were in rampant form, running out 5-1 winners at Forest Green to maintain their slim title hopes.

Goals from Max Skimmings (2), Chris Margiotta, Michael Urling-Brown and Timi Ulthuman Olaniyan made sure of the points for Northend.

With only 11 games played this term, Northend have as many as five matches in hand on those above them and could rise to second if they take maximum points from those fixtures.

Losing 5-1, Lord Nelson walked off the pitch with 18 minutes of their clash at Glendale remaining.

Division Two

A hat-trick from Harry Chalk helped keep second-placed Grove United on track with a 4-2 win at Custom House.

United lead the chasing pack, with West Essex Reserves two points clear the top of the division having played one game more.

Rob Arundall got the other goal for Grove.

The stand-out result was Leyton Green's resounding 8-1 success at home to St Francis Reserves.

Hat-tricks from Karel Francis and Charlie Saywood set Green on their way to three points, with Anthony Ferdinand and Luke McKenzie also finding the back of the net.

Dagenham United eased to a 4-2 win at Newham Royals thanks to braces from Jonnell Bampo and Francis Mireku.

Cowley Community cruised to victory at Northend Reserves, winning 2-0 to remain in the promotion picture.

A double from Izynna Ogedi-uzokwe sealed the points and took the striker's goal tally to 30 in all competitions, making him the Alliance League's top scorer.

Fenton Cup Quarter-Final

Chingford Athletic are now just 90 minutes from a final after a 6-1 win at St Francis in the last eight.

Michael Mignot hit a hat-trick and was ably supported by Tobias Hayden, Tom Pearce and Jake Edward Mignot strikes.
