THE never-ending saga of where Crystal Palace will play their future football has reared its head again.
It is believed Eagles chairman Simon Jordan has approached the owners of the National Sports Centre in Crystal Palace Park with a view of moving his club there.
Apparently Croydon Council have made it clear there is no alternative site for the club within the borough, hence Jordan looking further afield.
Jordan has spoken to the London Development Agency (LDA) who are considering his proposal.
But with the LDA already earmarking the National Sports Centre for development including a sports arena to include ornamental and landscaping features, Palace's proposals may be unworkable.
Despite alternatives being few and far between, Jordan still has not ruled leaving their home of 83 years.
He said: "I have been considering that option from day one and have never found a suitable alternative site and that has not changed."
If Palace move to the National Sports Centre it would be a home-coming as they were founded at the site in 1905.
