Millwall have signed former Charlton striker Ricardo Fuller on a one-year deal.

The 34-year-old becomes Ian Holloway’s fourth summer signing and joins as a free agent having been released by Blackpool in the summer.

Fuller scored the winning goal for the Tangerines in their 1-0 victory over the Lions in March but is best known around here for his previous history with Charlton Athletic.

The Jamaican striker had a trial with the Addicks at the start of his career but went on to join Crystal Palace in 2001.

He eventually signed for the Addicks in 2012 from Stoke City in Charlton’s first season back in the Championship, scoring five times in 31 appearances for Chris Powell’s side.

The then Valley manager was keen to keep hold of the forward last summer but financial constraints in SE7 meant Fuller instead ended up at Blackpool where he found the net half a dozen times.

Now he is back in south east London with the Lions and his arrival could well signal the end of Holloway’s search for a big and experienced target man.
