Leyton Orient have agreed to sign Derby County goalkeeper Adam Legzdins on a two-year deal.

The O's were in the market for a new keeper after Jamie Jones' move to Preston North End last week and they have moved quickly to bring in a replacement.

Legzdins' contract with Derby was not being renewed this summer and he has agreed to join Russell Slade's side.

The 27-year-old shot stopper started off his career at Birmingham City before a series of loan spells at Halifax, Oldham and Macclesfield.

Legzdins spent two seasons with Crewe before joining Burton Albion in 2010. His form for the club earned him the player of the season and a move to Derby in 2011.

The keeper, who is eligible to play for Latvia through his grandparents, made 35 appearances for the Rams but did not play at all last season with Lee Grant the first choice keeper.
