Leyton Orient have made a slight increase on the cost of season tickets, which went on sale on Wednesday.

The price increase is the first since promotion to League 1 in 2006 and it still compares with the 2008/09 campaign after ticket prices were lowered the following year.

There will also be no change to junior prices in the North Stand.

Adult tickets in the Gallery will cost £630 for adults and £430 for concessions. In the West and East stand, adults will pay £350 or £230 for concessions.

A South stand season-ticket will cost £325 or £220 for concessions. North stand tickets are priced at £220 for adults, £150 for concessions, £75 for Under-18s and £50 for Under-11s.

Concessions apply to Under-18s, Over-65s, students with a valid ID card, and current serving members of the Armed Forces, Disabled spectators are eligible for a free season ticket and must provide receipt of DLA at middle or high rate.

Chairman Barry Hearn told the club website: “It’s a great opportunity to get signed up now and get behind the players and Russell Slade for the forthcoming year.

“We continue to do our absolute best to make football as affordable as possible for our supporters though we need to remain competitive and that means a very slight rise in prices. Nonetheless we believe the prices to be very fair and still offer great value.

“The average price increase is still less than £1 per game for supporters which I hope people are more than willing to pay given what a fantastic side we have here at the moment and how much it can cost to watch live football elsewhere in the capital.

“The support for the club has been magnificent recently and I’d encourage everyone to spread the word and get friends and family signed up for a season ticket for next season. It could be another memorable one and you wouldn’t want to miss out,” the O’s chairman added.

The club are also keeping the referral scheme again. Referring a new season-ticket holder will qualify both for a ten per cent discount. Anyone referring ten new fans to sign up will get a free season ticket.

Stand Up For The Orient season-ticket holders who attended a minimum of ten games last season and still remain between 14 and 18, or a full-time student under the age of 21, will be able to claim another free one next season.
