WEALDSTONE and Cheshunt will both play Wanderers in pre-season friendlies, the non-league sides have announced this week.

The Stones - crowned champions of the Isthmian League and winning promotion to the Skrill South at the end of last season - have said on their website they will host Wanderers on Tuesday, July 29.

Former Blues players Michael Malcolm and Scott McGleish were part of Wealdstone's promotion-winning squad - as is Lewis Putman, whose eighty-plus goals for Oxhey Jets last season landed him a trial with Wanderers.

Midfielder Tom Pett has also been attracting interest from Wycombe, while the Stones also have former Chalfont St Peter player Jerome Okimo in their ranks.

Meanwhile Cheshunt announced they will host a Wanderers XI on Saturday, July 12, with a 1pm kick off.

Blues signed defender Tommy Fletcher from the Isthmian League North Division side last season.

Neither friendly match has been officially confirmed by Wanderers however.
