PAUL Hayes is returning to Wycombe Wanderers.
The striker, who scored six goals in six matches in a previous loan spell at Adams Park, has this evening put pen to paper on a two year contract.
Wanderers were keen on trying to sign the 30-year-old in the January transfer window, but he opted to sign for Scunthorpe United instead.
He was released by the Iron at the end of the season, having won a promotion winners' medal during his second stint at Glanford Park.
Blues boss Gareth Ainsworth told the club's official website: "He's played at a higher level than this and when he came here the first time he really opened my eyes to what a good player he is. He's clever, he leads the line really well but he can also come off the line and link the play.
"It sends out a statement that we're trying to build the squad the right way and I'm very pleased to have him."
