JOSE Mourinho's Chelsea will provide the opposition in Matt Bloomfield's testimonial match in the summer.
Bloomfield will celebrate his decade of service with Wanderers with a match against the side he faced in the never-to-be-forgotten Carling Cup semi final in 2007.
A number of Chelsea first team players will be included in the squad brought to Adams Park by Mourinho for the match, which takes place on Wednesday, July 16.
Bloomfield said: "It's a real honour for me that Chelsea have agreed to come and play here for my testimonial. I've got great memories of playing them before, even if the result didn't go our way in the end, and I can't wait for it to come around as I'm sure it'll be a night to remember, not just for me personally but for the fans as well."
Wanderers had arranged a fixture against Aston Villa - now managed by former Blues boss Paul Lambert - for Tuesday, July 15, but this has now been cancelled.
Ticket details for the testimonial match will be announced in due course.
