The only HIGHLIGHT is Troy,s goal. He worked his socks off for bugger all, sadly he will be snapped up and we will be left with no striker. Hopefully some of our other players will take note and look how poor they were last night.
I will always support our team but they need to have a look at ourselves and work out if they really want to be here and fight for promotion. Daniel Pudil has come here and thrown himself into what we are all about and has worked his hardest for us, he loves it here and his little boy wears the kit and his wife supports us too. If we had more players as committed as him what a different team we would have.

I agree about Deeney and he said as much on the WatfordFC website. However, much as I love Pudil's commitment to Watford, I don't think that he's good enough as a wing back. He lacks pace, rarely puts a good cross in and his finishing, when he gets the chance, is awful.

If we stick with 3-5-2 next season, I think that we need somebody new in at left wing back (and a number of other positions).

I'm affraid the team, the manager and the tactics have been shocking this year. We have taken several steps backwards and are lightyears from where we were this time last year. No doubt, we will continue to get more crap from Italy and Spain for next year but unfortunately, with a manager that doesn't learn from his mistakes and players that think they are too good for the second tier of English football, it will only be a relegation battle next season. We have lost the excitement and momentum that was generated when the Pozzo's arrived through bad planning and this stubban italian mentality of the italian way is best.

Totally agree. For much of this season the team has lacked backbone. Don't like the idea that the manager does not have any say on who comes or goes but we seem to sign or get on loan a whole bunch of players - many of whom get moved on elsewhere. Most of them were nowhere good enough in the first place.

I wouldn't disagree Kev, It was more of a point of the passion Pudil has for the club, if more players had that then maybe things would have been different this season, I'm a realist as although I'm 41 I started coming to Watford when I was 6 so I've seen the highs and lows. I just thought we would of kicked on from last season
