Leyton Orient captain Nathan Clarke has won the player of the year award for the League 1 promotion contenders.

The O's defender has been recognised for his consistency this season and has played in all 45 league matches during the campaign.

Moses Odubajo has also started every league game and the winger was named the young player of the season at last night's awards ceremony.

Defender Elliot Omozusi picked up the players' player of the season and was also named community player of the year.

Dean Cox's strike against Gillingham earlier this month was chosen as Orient's goal of the season.

David Mooney also received a special award in recognition of scoring 20 goals this season for Orient.

Goalkeeper Charlie Grainger, who has played for England Under-18s this season, was named youth team player of the year.

Youth coach Errol McKellar and fitness coach Sandy Risley also received special awards for outstanding contributions to the club.
