Derby County boss Steve McClaren praised his players for the way they have handled the run-in to the end of the season as they continue to gear-up for the play-offs.
The Rams’ 4-2 victory over Watford was the Rams’ fifth in succession and confirmed a third-place finish in the Championship.
McClaren said: “You can’t fault the players for what they’ve done. The pressure starts with ten games to go and they’ve handled it very well and now the next level of pressure comes. But we’re keeping the momentum going, we keep winning, we’ve got a difficult game at Leeds. How we approach that will be interesting, that’s something I need to think about but now everything’s towards the play-offs.”
