Burnley manager Sean Dyche says his side will be stretched to their limit on Saturday, with as many as five key players missing.

The former Watford boss has made a point of not rotating his squad this season, but with the Championship now reaching its climax, the Clarets are down to the bare bones.

Joint top scorers Sam Vokes and Danny Ings are sidelined with knee and ankle ligament damage respectively, meaning January signing Ashley Barnes is the club's only recognised forward.

Full-back Kieran Trippier and winger Junior Stanislas are both doubtful due to hamstring problems, with the trip to WD18 expected to came too soon for the pair.

Former Hull City and Spurs midfielder Dean Marney is also out as he serves the second game of his two match ban.

"We are probably stretched to our limit at the moment," Dyche told Burnley's official website.

"Everyone was suggesting it would happen, some outside our camp were almost thirsty for it to happen, but we believe in the group and the mentality of the group, so we will go again.

"It’s up to others to decide how they perceive things, but perception and facts are two completely different things and my job is to look at the facts."

Dyche continued: "We have got this situation where we are stretched, but we believe in what we are doing and we think the situation could change very, very quickly because we have a couple of players right on the cusp of coming back in."
