Watford are favourites to beat Premier League-bound Burnley at home this weekend.

The Hornets are a best price of 7/5 with Ladbrokes to ruin Sean Dyche’s return to Vicarage Road. The bookies have been influenced by Watford’s home form, six wins from their last seven games, along with injuries to Burnley strikers Sam Vokes and Danny Ings.

Watford are unbeaten in the last five games between the sides but this still looks a pretty stingy price against a team in second place that has just one defeat in their last 17 Championship matches.

Although the visitors were beaten by Leicester City in their last outing, there is an argument for saying Burnley are decent value at 11/5 with William Hill.

But the draw at 12/5 with William Hill may be the best bet as this has been the outcome in the last three meetings. The sides cancelled each other out when it finished 0-0 in December and Burnley would probably settle for another draw as they have a nine-point cushion over third-placed QPR.

Troy Deeney reached 20 goals for the season at Sheffield Wednesday and the confident striker could also be worth backing at 7/4 with Betfred to add to his tally against the Clarets.
