Watford cruised to victory against Barnsley but that was only possible after a scintillating start from the Hornets, when they could have scored more than the two goals they netted in the opening quarter of an hour.

The goalkeeper and back three were resilient for the majority of the contest and in front of them Daniel Tozser again excelled in the holding midfield role.

Wing backs Daniel Pudil and Davide Faraoni provided outlets for much of the contest, particularly in the first 15 minutes.

Cristian Battocchio scored a superb opening goal and Lewis McGugan impressed in the first half breaking forward from midfield before fatigue kicked in after his lengthy lay-off.

And up top Troy Deeney led the line well and netted his 17th of the campaign alongside stand-in striker Ikechi Anya, who terrorised Barnsley’s defence early on.

But who was your pick of the bunch?
