BLUES boss Gareth Ainsworth said his side can’t rest on their laurels despite a five match unbeaten run, saying they ‘haven’t done anything yet’ this season.

Wanderers have given themselves a little breathing space at the foot of League Two by picking up seven points in the space of a week.

But Ainsworth said that will count for nothing if his side relax now – saying his safety target is well above 50 points.

Wanderers sit fourth from bottom of the table, but such is the congested nature of League Two this season that had they managed to nick a winner at Southend United yesterday they would have risen all the way up to 15th.

And Ainsworth is acutely aware Blues still have work to do if they’re to avoid getting sucked back into the thick of things at the foot of the table.

He said: “We crack on with Hartlepool next week, feet firmly on the floor. We haven’t done anything yet and I want to get to that magic total, which I won’t reveal but it’s somewhere over the 50 point mark.”
