Ingram hoping frustration over as losing run ends
MATT Ingram admits it's been a frustrating experience being a goalkeeper in recent weeks.
A single goal was often enough to see Wanderers off during their run of one win in 18 matches, with the strikers misfiring down the other end of the field from Ingram.
The High Wycombe-born keeper has had a better time of things lately, conceding just one goal in his last four appearances.
But he admitted: "It does get frustrating sometimes when you're doing your job and the goals aren't going in. It's a little bit of luck sometimes - it's not the strikers weren't creating chances, but they were hitting the post and we weren't getting the odd decision."
Ingram added: "Just getting the couple of wins together has given everyone that belief we can do it now. Performances have turned into results - before, we were still conceding one in the last minute.
"At the moment we are concentrating on one game at a time - the ambition now is to win at Southend. The table's so tight, a couple of wins could take us quite a way up the table quite quickly.
"League Two is so open anyone can beat anyone and we showed that when we beat Chesterfield after being on a winless streak."
