East London Runners had three competitors at the Watford Half Marathon on Sunday with two managing to achieve personal bests.

Mark Boulton was the first man in from the Wanstead-based club, finishing 46th in a time of 1.20.01 Manjit Bedi came 87th in 1.23.08 and while Claire Parker also registered a personal best time of 1.36.38.

Meanwhile there were two Runners at the Regents Park 10k.

Richard Guest clocked 43.46 and Maud Hodson crossed the line in 51.22.

Euan Brown was one place off top spot at the Wanstead Flats 5km parkrun on Saturday with a time of 19.42 and James Wilson was close behind in third with 19.49.

Derek Wright also made the top ten, coming eighth with 22.30, while Maud Hodson (24.48) and Fiona Day (26.21) both made the top 30.

Over the same distance, Paul Quinton was second at the Hackney Marshes parkrun and Russell Price was ninth in 19.18.

Richard Guest (20.18) came 20th while Claire Parker (23.47), Sarah Burns (46th) and Julie Creffield (33.24) all crossed the finishing line.

John Booth was the club's solo runner at the Mile End parkrun. He came 15th with a time of 19.36.
