Watford sold mercurial winger Nigel Callaghan to Derby County for £140,000.
An extraordinary crosser of the ball, Callaghan's 250 appearances for the club peppered the Hornets' halcyon era.
Graham Taylor would later re-sign Callaghan for Aston Villa, and the winger would return to Vicarage Road for a brief loan spell under Steve Perryman. He was playing non-league football before his 30th birthday.
