Bournemouth have confirmed there were no ejections from the away end on Saturday but the Police have asked the club for CCTV footage after a smoke bomb was thrown on to the pitch.

A Hertfordshire Constabulary Twitter feed said there had been nine 'Watford ejections' at Goldsands Stadium at the weekend but Bournemouth have confirmed those were fans sitting in home sections of the ground.

Dorset Police have been unavailable to comment since being contacted on Monday.

Should have asked the stewards to be transferred before the match started. I was in Bournemouth end with 3 other Watford fans and transferred no problem but had to stand as seats were all sold.
Just as well we did transfer as a group in front of us had noted us as Horns, think the yellow shirts gave it away !!!

What a joke. Is there no crime more serious than a smoke bomb at a football match these days?

Shame on the Police. Go catch real criminals please.

Glad we take our fan's indiscretions seriously ... go catch real criminals is such an intelligent comment.

If the police decide to charge any of our moronic fans then hopefully WFC will folow it will some limetime bans.

Ps sitting in the wrong end in your yellow shirts is massively responsible! If you went regularly you would have been entitled to a ticket in the Watford end!

For Gods sake. The club have been fined for Smoke Bombs or whatever you want to call them. The club have made a plea for it to stop. So whoever it is keeps doing it. That is totally moronic, stupid, and whatever the club get fined again, the people responsible should pay the fine.

What is the matter with people. What on earth does it do for the game anyway?

There were seven of us
Watford fans in the "home" area directly opposite the main section of WFC fans, and although we cheered and clapped the stewards seemed "content" to leave us alone as we were not causing any trouble.

We could not get tickets for the game in the away section, and there were quite a few Horns in various home areas, as our away following has increased quite dramatically this season.

Why could not have Bournemouth have increased our allocation, as there were still around 800 empty seats in the ground?

BTW, best support and noise from WFC fans all season, and although a bit boisterous at times with such diabolical referee/linesman decisions, what do you expect? Imagine if was Millwall, Leeds, or Cardiff?????

Not true.

The away allocation got snapped up very quickly!

We have often taken 1500 to 2000 away this season, sometimes a lot more, so you are wrong on this one!

The 1300 allocation was far too low!

I don't want to pick out individual posters but there are some serious killjoy types on here and worse, I think they're making things up as they go along.

When were Watford FC fined for use of a smoke bomb? And why didn't GS, if it were such a serious issue, mention it when he called the support "Incredible"?

If you want something to moan about on the health & safety front then how about directing your ire towards the proliferation of gambling booths at every ground (many people live's ruined by it), awful facilities, shockingly narrow/dangerous seating and gangways, overzealous stewarding or poor standard of hygiene and quality of 'food' (I use the term loosely) served at many grounds?

And I will repeat, genuine shame on the Police for targetting football supporters whilst serious crime and criminals seem to be getting away with far worse.

We cry when away fans sit in the home end at the vic so I feel we should pay away fans the same courtesy
