Third division Watford sent six special trains of supporters to Old Trafford as the Hornets faced European champions Manchester United in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Ken Furphy's side shocked a team boasting the likes of George Best, Bobby Charlton and Denis Law when a spectacular Stewart Scullion strike gave the underdogs the lead in the second minute of the game.
The lead was protected until the middle of the second half, when Watford goalkeeper Mike Walker collided with left-back Johnny Williams allowing Law to grab an equaliser.
