Watford faced second division Wolverhampton Wanderers in an FA Cup first round replay at Molineux.
The first game had ended in a goalless draw, the highlights of which were replayed at the town's Picture Palace after being captured on film.
The gap in class between the two sides was slightly more evident in the replay, the home side recording a 10-0 victory having been 7-0 up within half an hour.
