Wasn't there but will go for Almunia for his penalty heroics. Just a shame Cassetti was not there to hoof it upfield to Anya

Manuel was tariff but my vote went to Fitz. The guy was outstanding and being on a one month deal nearly had his livelihood taken away by the Bournemouth players demanding a second player be sent off. It seems they could not make their mind who fouled Pugh but still got in the refs face with an answer.

The media got it wrong as to who got booked as did Howe. That said it all.

Almunia all day long with Pudil second for his goal line clearance 5 mins from the end.. Pudil for me is nearing being accepted as a "Watford player" by the hardcore support.. Atmosphere was electric at Bournmouth.. One of the best for years...

Difficult to say with so many glowing reports about the guys who put their bodies on the line and saying as one man 'they shall not pass'. What a massive confidence booster.

Having seen the highlights I have rule out fitz. Should have been red carded correctly in the 1st penalty and incorrectly on the second!

My thoughts during/ after the game were that pace might prove an issue with him for the remainder if the season!

Fitz hall had Grabban in his back pocket the whole match - immense performance from a very important player

Almunia was excellent as was Iriney (for 30 minutes before he hobbled off) and all three centre backs played well.

Battochio never stopped running too. Deeney great for the defensive work he did but not so much for his attacking but to be honest Man of the Match was the WHOLE team and the supporters.

As for the comment above about Fitz Hall should have been red carded - were you at the game or just basing it on highlights? He did pull on the shirt for the first penalty but there was another defender in front of him so how does that equal red card - not dangerous, reckless or last man?

MOM?? The supporters. ..best away support I've seen for a few years. The 13 hundred there should be forced to STAND (can't create an atmosphere sitting down) together at every home game and show the sit down and be quiet brigade how it's done.
