Watford have only sold 4,000 tickets for the FA Cup replay with Bristol City so far

This Is Local London: Only 4,000 replay tickets sold so far Only 4,000 replay tickets sold so far

Watford have currently only sold 4,000 tickets for Tuesday's FA Cup third round replay with Bristol City.

Tickets for the tie are £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for Under-16s throughout Vicarage Road Stadium.

Season ticket holders had until 5.30pm yesterday to claim their own seats before release but then all seats were made unavailable until 10am this morning, when they were put on general sale.

Non-season ticket holders with a Fan ID number had also been able to buy prior to 5.30pm yesterday.

The winner of Tuesday's replay could face a trip to Manchester City in round four – depending on how the high-flying Premier League club fare against Blackburn Rovers in their own replay on Wednesday.

I have bought a ticket but I am dissappointed with the pricing. Surely £10 would have been a lot more logical and would have ensured a respectable attendance. I could understand £15 against Premier League opposition or a decent Championship team but not for a League 1 team.

£15 for a ticket to watch your team play is more than fair!!! Real supporters will pay it, the 1's that are on the bandwagon, who are only really interested in seeing Premiership football and can't afford Arsenal, Chelsea or Tottenham season tickets so brought 1 for Watford in the hope we went up last season won't...thats why there will probably be 10000/11000 attendance!!! £15 for one adult maybe is manageable, but throw in my other half and 3 kids that makes it £45. £45 just after Xmas is not easy to find. Our season tickets cost over £1000.
Make it £10 adult, £1 a U16 like the Norwich league cup game then I think that is reasonable. At least make these prices available to ST holders.
In my opinion which not everyone will agree with, I think the club have got this one wrong.

You know why that lot on benefit street have all those things don't you? because it is given to them on a plate. They pay nothing into society but take plenty out of it.
If "everything" was affordable I'd be living in a 5 bedroom detached house in Moor Park with a couple of BMWs on the drive. Stop being so bloody patronising.
We are charging more for a replay on a Tuesday night than Bristol did for the original tie. There will be way below 10K at the game with a p1ss poor atmosphere. Cheaper tickets for cup games = more people in the stadium. I do appreciate the Pozzos & I do support them, to the tune of over £100 a month.

I agree that's it's given to them on a plate but personally if I want something I have to make sacrifices, I don't earn a fortune but I manage my money.
Also I am not materialistic so even if I could afford to, I wouldn't live in Moor Park and certainly wouldn't drive a BMW.
10k or 20k It's always a **** poor atmosphere at home and I don't blame the supporters for that, I blame the lack of blood and thunder on the pitch for that, not only our team but the national game as a whole.

The fact that only few thousand are going makes me think I might turn up, I wont have to be sat in front of a couple eating their prawn, celery and avocado sarnies and moaning that the Cassiobury estate Met line station closing might effect their house price.

Their moanings we had to listen too were interspersed with telling me and my mates to sit down when we had corners etc..

At least these types can be ethnically cleansed to the east stand when its built.

I agree bigmeup, anyone who moans about people standing and getting behind the team should be forcibly removed by the stewards to a seat more suitable for them in the east stand or upper Rous.

Once the Rookery is for the real supporters the atmosphere will improve greatly.

It's not the £15 I object to, but the 50p to add your ticket to your season ticket and then they print off three bits of card and post it to you as a receipt! Surely the email receipt is enough. If Amazon can sell stuff on the web without charging extra and not relying simply on an email receipt! Anyway my other moan is retired people get in for £10, when I pay for them to have a winter fuel allowance to stay indoors on winter nights.

That's a bit harsh innit? You must admit you and LD flirting all the time is a little bit bi-curious.

Haven't been in the WHs since June and Leighton were there....do they do any decent beer?

Do they still open the old bit for pre football?

Does Kevin Whately still drink there befor BurnleY?

I MUST know......
