A frustrating day for the Hornets who were 2-1 up on Millwall at Vicarage Road midway through the second half when referee, Mr A Fussey, abandoned the game owing to the worsening fog.
Particularly aggravated was Charlie Livesey, who would have to wait another two months for his first goal at Vicarage Road after seeing this one chalked off.
The game had earlier been interrupted three times by a persistent brown dog that twice found its way back onto the pitch having been ejected.
