Watford to host open training session during half term
3:46pm Wednesday 23rd October 2013 in Latest Sport
The Hornets will be opening their doors on October 31 to give supporters an opportunity to watch Gianfranco Zola’s Watford squad train at Vicarage Road.
With October half-term also falling next week, children can witness the squad being put through their paces for approximately 90 minutes from The Lower Rous Stand.
Training begins at 11am and entry to the stadium is via The Hornets Shop on Vicarage Road from 10.30am.
Ten young Golden Boys and Girls will also be plucked from the stands on the day of the event and they’ll have the opportunity to take a penalty against one of the first-team goalkeepers after training.
There will also be Watford FC giveaways, entertainment and an appearance from Harry the Hornet.
