Relocated Watford supporters to be given first option in Hornets' new East Stand
12:41pm Tuesday 8th October 2013 in Latest Sport
Watford supporters who were forced to relocate from the east side of Vicarage Road following its closure will have first option to move back to the new East Stand.
The Hornets will give fans who were forced elsewhere an exclusive time-frame to purchase 2014/2015 season tickets in the stand which is set to open before the end of the current campaign.
The club have started to retrieve the information of those supporters who were relocated.
Watford CEO Scott Duxbury told the club website: "It is only right that we do everything we can to make good on promises and commitments from the past.
"It is clear that there is a lot of sentiment and history attached to the east side of the stadium - and we intend to make the process as smooth as possible for supporters to move back to where they may well feel at home."
