LIVE - Charlton v Doncaster (abandoned at HT)
This live event has finished
- MATCH ABANDONED AT HT: Charlton 1 (Church) Doncaster 3 (Keegan, Brown 2)
- The game has been called off due to the state of the pitch after heavy downpours in SE7
- Doncaster made the perfect start by taking the lead inside two minutes as Paul Keegan heads home Theo Robinson's cross
- Chris Brown doubled the advantage with a simple tap in and then grabbed his second with a header
- Play was suspended for a period in the first half due to the heavy rain
- Simon Church gave the Addicks hope and then Keegan was sent off before half-time after picking up second yellow card
- But there was to be no resumption in play after the break as the referee decided to call a halt to the contest
Just waiting for Chris Powell to come in and have his say now. Stay tuned for updates.
Hope they get a refund or free tickets for the rearranged fixture
Feel sorry for Doncaster and their fans, if it was the other way around Charlton would be equally annoyed
Doncaster players are throwing their shirts into the away end. The game HAS been abandoned.
Has anyone kept a farce count this afternoon? #cafc— @intomnia 24 August 2013
Charlton 1-3 Doncaster: Well that certainly wasn't dull!
Should have been 4-1 but thankfully the rain stopped Chris Brown's shot in its tracks
Mark Gower goes in the book
Three minutes of additional time to be played
Doncaster down to 10-men as Paul Keegan picks up his second yellow card of the afternoon. Bet he wishes the game had been called off now!

Charlton back in it as Simon Church drills a low shotpast Turnbull
What an absolute farce. #cafc— @deankilpatrick 24 August 2013
Rob Jones heads behind from a Donny corner, goal-kick to the Addicks
The ref getting lots of boos as the ball continues to stop dead every five seconds
The ball is still stopping, can't see how the ref made his decision to continue as things have not improved.
There are 18-and-a-half minutes left of the first half as the game resumes with a Donny throw in
The Charlton players are finally back with us.
Match will be back underway in five minutes
The officials are back out to inspect
Some Doncaster players are joining in the pitch clearance having picked up a few forks! You can't really blame them with that 3-0 lead.
And the rain just keeps on pouring down
The pitch staff are still hard at work with the forks in the six-yard box Charlton were defending in the first half
RT @keoogh89: Call it off ref can't play in these conditions haha #cafc— @Stevelavery_92 24 August 2013
Doncaster players are back out
There will be a pitch inspection within the next half hour we've just been informed
It is still chucking down here in SE7 at the minute
'Why Does It Always Rain On Me' by Travis being played on the PA. Very good.
They are going to try to clear some water from the pitch
Match suspended, Doncaster are furious
Ref consulting his assistant and both managers over state of the pitch
3-0 Donny as Brown heads home from a corner. Boos from some Addicks fans.
Turnbull produces super stop to tip over Harriott's effort and then somehow keeps out Kermorgant's header from the resulting corner
2-0 Doncaster as Chris Brown taps home Robinson's low delivery
Morrison header blocked in the box from a corner
Pritchard volley well saved by Turnbull
No doubt this game is going to be called off. This pitch is mad! The ball ain't even moving. #cafc— @BackToSeanio 24 August 2013
Pritchard unlucky not to get on the end of Kermorgant's flicked header
Theo Robinson drills shot into the side-netting. Rain has got a lot heavier in the last few minutes.
Robinson tests Ben Hamer with a shot
Doncaster in front with a header from Paul Keegan after he met Theo Robinson's cross
The game is underway
The away end looks like an easy version of "Where's Wally". #cafc— @CAFC_Toilet 24 August 2013
Here come the teams
My prediction for today is a 2-1 win for the Addicks
Very wet. Not quite on the same scale as Hull (h) last year, but not far off. #CAFC— @ramblingaddick 24 August 2013
The rain is chucking down again after a brief respite
