Watford Borough Council request more information on Watford FC's plans to build new East Stand at Vicarage Road Stadium
A document posted outside Vicarage Road last week shows the club is seeking to demolish the main East Stand structure, which ends at the players' tunnel.
The media centre, former supporters club building, toilet block and most of the terracing to the left of the main building will be demolished.
The concrete structure to the right of the main stand, which houses the players’ changing rooms and tunnel, will remain but the roof will be removed as well as some of the terrace area at the front of that section.
The club’s application showed they planned to start demolition on Monday (August 19).
However, Watford Borough Council confirmed today (Tuesday) that after receiving the document last Wednesday (August 14) the planning officer in charge has requested more information from the club which he is still waiting for.
A council spokesman added: "Once this has been received and considered we will be able to make a decision."
