DNA samples, photos and student lists are some of the items buried in a time capsule at Kingsmead School in Wiveliscombe.
Contents past and present, including information on life at the school and items of uniform, have been collated and stored under the path to the new science block currently being built.
Team member Sarah Wilcox said: "It will be great for those opening the capsule in the future to see how little or how much our school lives have changed.”
