Wanderers celebrate Joel Grant's early goal against Rotherham
GARETH Ainsworth wants a strong start against Burton tomorrow as Blues look to right the wrongs from Tuesday's loss at Bradford.
Wanderers have made something of a habit of scoring early on in games but the boot was on the other foot as Bradford snatched a seventh minute winner.
Now Ainsworth wants his side to come flying out the traps as they look to get back to winning ways.
He said: "In one or two games we haven't started well and paid the price. It just shows how important starting is.
"It's so important how you start games and it was evident at Bradford, but we'll make sure that doesn't happen again.
"I'll make sure we are up and start the game better than we did at Bradford. If we'd started it better we'd be coming away with a 0-0, as there weren't many chances after that."
Ainsworth added: "When I took over we went out looking like we were losing the game from the start and we had to get back in it.
"We can't let anyone have a chance in the first ten minutes. Let's start well, let the game settle and we can do our stuff."
