Watford boss Gianfranco Zola reacts to Football Discplinary Commission outcome
6:08pm Wednesday 20th March 2013 in Latest Sport By Tom Allnutt

Gianfranco Zola admits he is “relieved” Watford will not be deducted points after a discplinary commission came to what he described as the “correct decision” following the club's and former owner Laurence Bassini's Football League hearing.
Bassini and the Hornets were charged following alleged breaches of the Football League’s regulations and the club’s former owner has subsequently been banned from any participation in football for three years.
Other possible penalties, including a fine or a points deduction, were not imposed however and Zola believes the right outcome in that regard has been reached.
“I am relieved about the decision,” the Hornets head coach said.
“I think it is the correct decision too because this group hasn’t got anything to do with the past.
“I don’t think the issue has affected the players at all.”

Blimey - headline news, GZ is glad we didn't get any points deducted. Well there's a surprise !!
How about an article on our injured players, esp Abdi - will he be fit for next week's game ? Is NC expected to be fully recovered ? Is Manuel expected to be fit ?
Now cheer up

Plus Zola is the boss...he will pick the team with whom he sees fit to play....not who we all think should play.

Can i just say this MQ.....you dont talk about your players to at least a day before your game as you wont wanna let the other team know who they maybe or will face therefore they have to do a lot more work , each player is different to mark and defend against , plus the style you play etc so you hear anything at all.
