DAVE Winfield is still a major fitness doubt for Wanderers' trip to Bradford tomorrow night, but boss Gareth Ainsworth is hopeful top scorer Matt McClure will be back.
Defender Winfield was forced off against Rotherham last Tuesday with a hip injury and he's still feeling the effects.
There was better news regarding McClure, who could be involved at Valley Parade after Ainsworth said he was close to figuring in his squad for Saturday's match with Northampton until the game was postponed.
Both went to Blues' training ground for treatment after Adams Park was waterlogged.
Ainsworth said: "There's a couple we told to rest up, a couple who've been struggling who came in for treatment. The rest of us were off on Saturday and Sunday twiddling our thumbs.
"Matt was pretty close to making it. We are still looking at Dave. He was in for treatment.
"We've got depth now with Doc back and Kortney, people like that. We'll be able to shuffle it if we need to."
Bradford will be aiming to bounce back from a 4-1 defeat at Exeter City on Saturday, their first defeat in six matches.
According to Ainsworth's scouting report the final scoreline was harsh on the Bantams, who have only won once in seven League Two outings since beating Wanderers 3-0 at Adams Park.
And Ainsworth said: "I'm hoping it will be different to the home game."
